Writer Wednesday: Trinity Ford: Clean Historical Romance

Writer Wednesday:

Trinity Ford: Clean Historical Romance

For today’s Writer Wednesday, I wanted to feature a friend of mine who first turned me on to writing clean historical romance. When she first suggested I try writing clean historical romance, the thought hadn’t even crossed my mind. Now, I have a ten-book clean historical romance series, Whiskey River Brides. The first book, Whiskey River, is coming February 2018 with Hot Tree Publishing.

Trinity Ford had also turned me on to writing shorter reads, as well. Most people today enjoy shorter reads to enjoy on commutes to work, when on break, etc. All of Trinity Ford’s books are short reads, but she masterfully weaves the story with well-developed characters and plot lines.

Trinity Ford was the first clean historical romance writer that I ever read. She lives in Texas, the backdrop of her books. She uses Texas’ rich history in her books, helping the state and its inhabitants to come alive for the reader.

If you’re looking for a good clean historical romance, then try reading Trinity Ford’s books. She won’t disappoint.

BIOGRAPHY:
Trinity Ford hails from the great state of Texas, where her Southern romance books are rooted. She's published the Wanted: Wives in the West series, which is a clean, historical romance set in the fledgling town of Fort Worth, Texas.

In addition, Trinity Ford was invited to participate in the 45-author series called American Mail Order Brides, with many USA Today and NY Times Bestselling authors, where she voiced the story of Della: Bride of Texas. Della is a book with dual series appeal, as it is also the 4th book in Wanted: Wives in the West.

All of the books in Trinity's series are free of vulgar language, have closed bedroom doors (no sex scenes) and include a happily ever after ending.

The books include snippets of the rich history of Fort Worth, Texas - including Hell's Half Acre, the cattle drives and the beginnings of the Stock Show and Rodeo. Characters from earlier books make an appearance in later ones, but each book can be enjoyed as a standalone read, allowing you to pick up at any point and read without getting lost.

Trinity Ford resides in Ft. Worth, Texas with her three children, a chihuahua, a husky and three cats.
